Iris Bell, MD, PhD has been a researcher in areas related to holistic, complementary and alternative medicine for over 30 years. She was chosen as one of the Best Doctors in the Pacific region of the US in 1996 and in the US in 1998. Currently Professor of Family & Community Medicine, Dr. Bell has served on the faculties at Harvard Medical School, University of California San Francisco, and the University of Arizona. She graduated magna cum laude in biology from Harvard University and then received her PhD in Neuro- and Biobehavioral Sciences and MD from Stanford University. Her psychiatry internship and residency were at the University of California–San Francisco, and she is Board certified in Psychiatry with Added Qualification in Geriatric Psychiatry. She is licensed to practice conventional medicine in Arizona and California.

Carlos Néstor Cámpora qualified as an M. D. in 1989 and Internal Medicine in 1994, and is certified as a Master in Homeopathy in his native Argentina. A teacher of homeopathy since 1993, he has presented seminars and lectured at congresses and homeopathic schools in Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, and Germany; published numerous articles on the treatment of hypertension, sciatica, trigeminal neuralgia, otitis media, and AIDS; and conducted Hahnemannian provings of the brown killer spider and black-chested buzzard eagle. He currently practices in Buenos Aires and La Plata, and directs the Postgraduate Course of the University of Buenos Aires. He can be reached at info@cncampora.com.ar.

Martin Chaplin has been professor of Applied Science at London South Bank University since 1992. Before then, he lectured at the Universities of Leeds, Ghana and Malawi. i He obtained his PhD in 1970 from The University of Birmingham, UK, on work concerned with the human gonadotrophins and is a chartered Chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He is an Associate Editor and Editorial review board member for “Water: A multidisciplinary research journal” and on the editorial board of  "Homeopathy". Professor Chaplin is author and webmaster of the comprehensive website on water "Water structure and science"

Peggy Chipkin, FNP, one of the founders of the Hahnemann Clinic, has studied homeopathy since 1976 with George Vithoulkas, Sheilagh Creasy, Jeremy Sherr, Roger Morrison, Lou Klein, Vega Rozenberg, and others. Certified in Classical Homeopathy, she is a member of the North American Society of Homeopaths, has taught and written articles for the International Foundation for Homeopathy, and presented at several IFH case conferences. She has also taught at the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, served on both the Council for Homeopathic Certification and the Homeopathic Community Council, mentored students from the University of California San Francisco Nurse-Practitioner program, and is also a certified Feldenkrais® practitioner, with advanced training in the Anat Baniel Method™ for children with special needs.

Dr. Dan Cook received a Degree in History from Stanford University. Doctor of Medicine, Magna cum laude, St Louis University. Apprenticeship with Dr Jost Künzli, St Gallen, Switzerland 1991-92. Practice in classical homoeopathy, Dallas, Texas since 1992. Publications include The Ascendance and Decline of Homeopathy in America: How Great was its Fall? (Journal of the AIH v89, no.3, Autumn 1996), The Value of Symptoms (Journal of the AIH v86, no.3, Autumn 1993), The Fundamentals of Homeopathy (self-published 2006), and A Case of Chronic Otitis Media (Journal of the AIH v101, no.2, Summer 2008).

The emergence of integrated medicine in the last 20 years raises several research questions for sociologists: What is the nature of this integration, does it improve the health of the patients; and does it offer any solutions to the crises facing the health care system? Coulter attempts to address these issues.

Dr Peter Fisher is Clinical Director and Director of Research at the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital in London, England, Europe’s largest centre for integrative medicine, Physician to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He is accredited as a specialist in homeopathy and rheumatology. A member of the WHO Expert Advisory Panel on Traditional and Complementary Medicine, and Editor-in-Chief of Homeopathy, the only homeopathic journal indexed in Medline (www.sciencedirect.com/homp), he is Clinical Lead of the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence of the UK National Health Service, and supervises the official NHS website, for Evidence in Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

His interest in Complementary Medicine arose from a visit to China during the Cultural Revolution, while still a medical student at Cambridge University. His homeopathic specialisation began as a junior doctor on call at The Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital.

Mitchell A. Fleisher, M.D., D.Ht., D.A.B.F.M., Dc.A.B.C.T. is a Board-certified family physician specializing in classical homeopathy, nutritional and botanical medicine, chelation and bio-oxidative therapy, with over 25 years of experience practicing integrative medicine. A graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine, he began studying homeopathy in 1975, trained with the New England School of Homeopathy and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, and has taught at both institutions, as well as the National Center for Homeopathy. Formerly Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia, and Associate Medical Director of the MCV/Blackstone Family Practice Residency Training Program, where he also trained, he has also taught homeopathy at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in their complementary medicine programs, and lectures widely in the U.S. and abroad on classical homeopathy and nutritional therapy. A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, as well as a Diplomate of American Board of Homeotherapeutics (D. Ht.) and the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Fleisher also serves as a consultant in integrative medicine to several health care institutions and corporations, and as Editorial Advisor for several published texts on homeopathy and nutritional therapy. Didier Grandgeorge, MD, was born in 1950 in Lyon, France, and has practiced homeopathy for children in Fréjus since 1980. He teaches homeopathy in the Medical Faculty of Marseille and often lectures in other countries. He is the author of several books, two of which have been translated in the United States, The Spirit of Homeopathic Medicines and Homeopathy for the Stages of Life, both published by North Atlantic Books, Berkeley.

George Guess, M.D., D.Ht. , is A 1973 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Guess completed a family practice residency at Southern Illinois University in 1976, and studied homeopathy extensively with George Vithoulkas at the Athenian School of Homeopathic Medicine (Greece), earning a degree from that institution. At present he maintains a classical homeopathic medical practice in Charlottesville, Virginia. Having previously served on the Board of Directors of the National Center for Homeopathy and as Convener for the Council for Homeopathic Education, he is currently Vice-President of the American Board of Homeotherapeutics and editor of the American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine, and has also served on the Teaching Faculty of the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH), the International Foundation for Homeopathy (IFH), and the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH).

Nancy Herrick, P.A., a distinguished homeopath for almost three decades, has also taught and trained professional homeopaths for 25 years, mostly at the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, which she co-founded with her husband, Roger Morrison, M. D. A pioneer in the use of video cases, she has also written two innovative books of provings, Animal Minds, Human Voices, and Sacred Plants, Human Voices.  She practices in Point Richmond, CA.

Dr. Paul Herscu is an naturopathic physician specializing in homeopathy, as well as biomedical researcher. He has been in private practice since 1986 after graduating from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Portland, Oregon. His first book The Homeopathic Treatment of Children, Pediatric Constitutional Types helps shape the way homeopaths work with children in the clinic. His next book, Stramonium with an Introduction to Analysis Using Cycles and Segments laid out his philosophical and practical approaches while helping many to understand this important remedy. In his Provings, Volumes I and II, Dr. Herscu gave language to conducting and reporting of provings that is logical, reproducible, and in keeping with current scientific thought. Dr. Herscu continues his life work to bring clarity & understanding to the teaching of homeopathy so that it may be used in a consistent and effective manner. In 1989 he and his wife, Amy Rothenberg, ND founded the New England School of Homeopathy. From 1991-2001, they published the New England Journal of Homeopathy.
In 2008 he established Herscu Laboratory, a multi-disciplinary non-profit medical research center focused on integrating diverse fields of medical and biological science, as well as public health and education. Herscu’s 20 year cumulative work involving prevention and treatment of pandemics, such as influenza, is found at www.hersculaboratoryflu.org. He has conducted groundbreaking research on angioedema diagnosis and differentiation, ADHD subpopulation and treatment response, influenza treatment studies and public health readiness in complementary and alternative medicine as well as in drug discovery and development. Herscu has written several books in and out of the world of homeopathy; he has also published articles in both homeopathic and orthodox peer-reviewed medical journals. John A. Ives, Ph.D. is the Director of the Brain, Mind, and Healing Program and Senior Scientist for the Samueli Institute. He has been with Institute since its inception in 2001. Research efforts under his direction include the use of dietary supplements for the treatment of leukodystrophies and traumatic brain injury, anti-cancer effects of homeopathy, and the modification of immunological response through homeopathy. Other projects under his direction include laboratory research into human bioenergy and the measurement of biophotons for determining health status. In collaboration with his colleagues, Dr. Ives developed and published the "silica hypothesis" as part of a vigorous research program into the underlying mechanisms of homeopathy.

Linda Johnston, MD, completed her medical training at the University of Washington in 1979. After a year in family medicine, she opened her own private practice in 1981, including homeopathy since 1986. Since then her main focus has been and remains the clinical practice of homeopathic medicine.

Teaching and writing about homeopathy have also become important priorities. From 1991–1996, she developed and taught a 2-year curriculum to train licensed physicians in homeopathy, and is well-known as a teacher on the international circuit. In addition to numerous articles for homeopathic journals, she has written two books, Additions to the Homeopathic Repertory from Kent’s Lectures on Materia Medica, and Everyday Miracles: Homeopathy in Action, a book for the general public. Since 1987, she has appeared frequently on radio and television and in print media interviews, to present homeopathy to a wider audience. 

Currently she is writing a book on pediatric homeopathy, using the newest techniques, and with her husband Frans Vermeulen is finishing a comprehensive textbook on the materia medica of plants and plant families. 

Wayne B. Jonas, MD is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Samueli Institute as well as a Professor of Family Medicine, Georgetown University Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Family Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. A family physician and scientist, he formerly served as the Director of the Office of Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, the Director of the Medical Research Fellowship at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, a Director of a WHO Collaborating Center for Traditional Medicine, and a member of the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy. He sits on numerous national and international advisory boards and scientific review groups. He is the author of over 150 publications and five books. He received his medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston- Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. med. Carl Rudolf Klinkenberg is a physician specializing in general medicine and homoeopathy, After studying with Will Klunker, Klaus-Henning Gypser and others, he has practiced homeopathy exclusively since 1986, treating severe diseases mainly. In 1999 he won the 1st Emil Schlegel Price with his "Guidelines to the Treatment of Cancer." Other publications on basic research, cancer, AIDS, psychiatric diseases, and more have been published in Europe and elsewhere. The long-awaited revision of the Materia medica, a project involving multiple authors, will include a major contribution from him as well.

In addition to teaching homeopathy for many years to graduate physicians in government-sponsoired medical schools, Dr. Klinkenberg is a frequent speaker at international conferences and seminars. He founded and served as President of the International Hahnemann Congress in 2007, and is currently the President of the Coethen International Exchange of Experience in 2009. 

Dr. Farokh Master received his homeopathic and medical training at Bombay Homoeopathic Medical College and M.P.K.H.Medical College, Jaipur. He has written over 50 books in English, some of which have been translated into Italian, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Hungarian, and Polish. After conducting provings of six snake venoms, he is presently studying for a Ph.D. from Mumbai University, and writing his dissertation on Palliation in Advanced Cancer.

Stephen Messer, N.D., D.H.A.N.P. did his undergraduate work at City College in New York, and earned an M. Ed. in Science from the University of Pennsylvania. In 1979 he graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and practiced naturopathic medicine in Eugene, Oregon for 21 years. In 1988, he completed postgraduate training and became a Diplomate of the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (DHANP), as well as attending over 400 hours of Eizayaga Seminars and becoming a Professor of the Eizayaga method in that year. A founder and Past President of the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians, Dr. Messer has served on the Boards of Directors of the National Center for Homeopathy (1987-2008) and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. His long teaching career began in 1984 with the International Foundation for Homeopathy. In 1993, he became Dean of the Summer School of the National Center for Homeopathy, and also taught at NCNM. In 2000 he relocated to Arizona to become Dolisos Professor of Homeopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Messer has presented papers at many homeopathic conferences nationwide, published articles in Homeopathy Today and other journals, and contributed to the The Homeopathic Emergency Guide by Thomas Kruzel. Currently he directs homeopathic provings at SCNM and conducts research in collaboration with David Riley, M. D.

Dr. Angel Oscar Minotti, M.D. Head teacher, Argentine Homeopathic Medical Association, graduated in 1971. Practicing homeopathic medicine 39 years. Author of the first Computerized Repertory Software in Spanish, 1988, present version called "Minotti 2010." Author of three books, Los Tumores de Mama y Homeopatía ("Breast Tumors and Homeopathy"); Heridas, Traumatismos y Secuelas, Tratamiento Homeopático ("Injuries, Wounds and Sequelæ, Their Homoeopathic Treatment"); and Ensayos Filosoficos Medicos ("Essays in Medical Philosophy"). Still teaching homeopathy in Brazil (São Paulo), Spain, Colombia and Argentina. Author and creator of Materia Medica Vivencial ("Experiential Materia Medica"), 1976, a new method for teaching Materia Medica, based on his own original caricatures of our remedies.

Roger Morrison, MD attended medical school at the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1978. After completing his internship in medicine, he studied for two years at the Athenian Center for Homeopathic Medicine in Athens Greece, earning the Diploma of the Athenian Center. In 1984 he moved to California, helping to found the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy and the Hahnemann Medical Clinic.

Richard Moskowitz, M.D., has practiced family medicine since 1967, and classical homeopathy since 1974, studying with the NCH Postgraduate Course, as well as George Vithoulkas, Rajan Sankaran, and others. Besides teaching, supervising, and lecturing, he has written two books, Homeopathic Medicines for Pregnancy and Childbirth, and Resonance: The Homeopathic Point of View, and many articles, such as "Homeopathic Reasoning," "Some Thoughts on the Malpractice Crisis," "Vaccination: a Sacrament of Modern Medicine," "Why I Became a Homeopath," "The Fundamentalist Controversy," "Hidden in Plain Sight," and "Diagnosis." He practices in Boston, and currently serves on the Board of the American Institute of Homeopathy.

Nicholas Nossaman, M.D., D.Ht., University of Colorado School of Medicine, 1968. Internship, Hennepin County General Hospital, Minneapolis, 1968-1969. Indian Health Service 1969-1971, Navajo Reservation, Crownpoint, New Mexico. Practicing homeopathic medicine since 1976, Denver, Colorado. Board Certified in homeopathic medicine. Former Board member and President, National Center for Homeopathy and American Institute of Homeopathy. Member, Rhus Tox. Study Group of Homeopatia Internationalis for over 20 years. Has taught both beginning and advanced courses, and written numerous articles for various homeopathic journals. Other interests: Jungian psychology, photography, watercolor, golf, pantomime and poetry.

Roberto Petrucci, M.D., teaches homeopathy in Italy, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Dubai, Germany, India, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia,  Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. He has compiled a Pediatric Repertory, Children Concepts, and written the book, Children: Homeopathic Materia Medica with Repertorial Symptoms. He is currently the President of the Centro di Omeopatia, Milano.

Karl Robinson, M.D. received his medical degree from Hahnemann College in 1972. He became disillusioned with conventional medicine during his residency in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital, New York City, and began studying homeopathy shortly thereafter. Since then he has studied with homeopaths from around the world. He is the former editor of the Journal of the American Institute of Homeopathy, now the American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine. For the last ten years he has been teaching homeopathy in Latin America, first in Cuba with Homeopaths Without Borders, and later in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. He also maintains practices in Houston, Texas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Anton Rohrer, M.D., was born in 1955, and studied medicine in Graz, Austria. Since 1985, he has practiced in his own clinic in Grosslobming, Austria, studied with Dorcsi, Vithoulkas, Sankaran, Künzli, Klunker, Saine, Moeller, and Plate, and has been engaged in homoeopathic education in Austria and Germany since 1987. For over 10 years he has been Lecturer in Homœopathy at the Medical University of Graz, and served as President of the Austrian Society of Homoeopathic Medicine from 1996 to 2000.

Dr. Todd Rowe is the president and a founder of the American Medical College of Homeopathy.   He is a licensed homeopathic physician who has been practicing homeopathy for more than 20 years and has a full time practice in classical homeopathy.  He is certified by the American Board of Homeotherapeutics and the Council for Homeopathic Certification.  He is the director of the Desert Institute of Classical Homeopathy. He has been a doctor of medicine since 1984 and a graduate of Rush Medical School, Chicago, Illinois.  He completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Vermont in 1988 and achieved Board Certification in Psychiatry in 1992.   He completed his homeopathic training at the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in Albany, CA.     Dr. Rowe teaches extensively.  He is the president of the American Medical College of Homeopathy (formerly the Desert Institute School of Classical Homeopathy). He supervises homeopathic students and trains medical students and residents in classical homeopathy.   He is the director of the American Medical College of Homeopathy Medical Center.  He has published several distance learning courses designed to help prepare physicians for first aid and acute prescribing, as well as preparing for homeopathic licensing exams.  He has written several books on homeopathic education, includingHomeopathic Methodology, The Homeopathic Journey and Choosing a Career in Homeopathic Medicine.     Dr. Rowe is the director of the Society for the Establishment of Research in Classical Homeopathy.  He has conducted numerous provings, mostly focusing on local flora and fauna.   He has recently published a book calledDesert Medicine: A Homeopathic Exploration which summarizes this research.  In addition, he has participated in conventional research exploring the efficacy of homeopathy in the treatment of fibromyalgia through the University of Arizona.  He has published several national research studies including the National Homeopathic Practitioner Survey, the National Homeopathic Patient Survey and the National Homeopathic Educational Survey.  

André Saine, N.D., began his homeopathic studies in 1976, graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1982, and has taught homeopathy extensively in North America and Europe since 1985. In 1986, he co-founded the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy, which offers postgraduate education in homeopathy to health care professionals. His abiding interest in the life and work of Dr. Adolph Lippe, widely considered one of the best practitioners of classical homeopathy, has led him into his current project, the history of homeopathy in treating epidemic diseases. He practices in Montreal, and specializes in the treatment of patients with serious chronic diseases.

Josef M. Schmidt, PD, MD, PhD, is a university lecturer on the history and theory of medicine at the University of Munich/Germany. He is trained as a physician for family medicine and is an expert on Hahnemann’s philosophical concepts (PhD-thesis). In 1992 he published the first German text-critical edition of Hahnemann’s Organon of Medicine, in 1996 its German standard edition, and in 2003 its New German edition.

Frederik Schroyens, M.D., Dr. Schroyens is a 1977 medical graduate of the State University of Ghent, Belgium, and in 1978 completed the one-year Homeopathic Training Course at the Faculty of Homeopathy in London, receiving the MFHom. In 1981 he was the first President of VSU, the largest homeopathic school in Belgium, which has given a one-year introductory training to more than 1,000 students and fully trained over 150 homeopaths in its 5-year program. He also founded the MASI Workshops in Belgium and Holland.
Dr. Schroyens was one of the first RADAR users in 1986 and became an early convert to the use of computer science in homeopathy, as a result of which, he became Homeopathic Coordinator of the RADAR Project.
In 1987, he was appointed as the main link between George Vithoulkas and the programming team of the University of Namur, Belgium, in their development of the Vithoulkas Expert System. He has assisted Vithoulkas at his seminars and consultations since 1988 as much as possible.
His publications include a 1984 introduction to homeopathy in Dutch, which has been translated into French and Portuguese; the 1993 Synthesis Repertory, as well as later editions, including both printed and computer versions, in German, English, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and other languages, all linked to the RADAR project; and several books based on Synthesis, notably 1001 Small Remedies and Arzneimittelbilder von Gemüt und Traume.

Tinus Smits, MD, has practiced homeopathy for over 30 years. A High School French teacher before studying medicine, he is a dedicated and experienced teacher of homeopathy as well. Some of his favorite subjects include Inspiring Homeopathy, Non-Toxic Tumor Therapy, and most recently, the Nature and Treatment of Autism. He will speak at this LIGA Congress about his treatment protocol, based on step-by-step detoxification of causative factors with isotherapy. Dr. Med. Wolfgang Springer, 25 years of experience in private practice of classical homeopathy. Clinical training in internal medicine, surgery, gynaecology and urology. Sadhana Thakkar, BHMS(Ind), CCH, a licensed homeopathic medical graduate from University of Bombay, India, Sadhana is a certified practitioner of Classical Homeopathy in North America and honorary member of the California Homeopathic Medical Society. She has taught practitioners at all levels in the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Egypt, and India, and lectured at various conferences. Her first book Insights into the Consciousness of Snake Remedies, has been well received and incorporated into the teaching curricula of several homeopathic schools. In addition, she has written many articles in both homeopathic journals, both in the US and abroad. She has practiced homeopathy for 20 years in Southern California, USA. Corey Weinstein, MD, CCH is a physician Certified in Classical Homeopathy and has been in the homeopathic practice for 37 years, and a past Vice President of the American Institute of Homeopathy. He helped found the Hering Family Health Clinic in Berkeley, CA in 1975 and has had a private practice in homeopathy since 1985. Since 1970 Dr. Weinstein has visited 18 of California’s 34 prisons and interviewed more than a thousand prisoners while working as a medical consultant and a human rights advocate in various capacities. In 1991 he founded a human rights NGO working with prisoners in high security units in California. He works with the WHO Health in Prison Project and the International Human Rights Committee of the American Public Health Association.  

Frans Vermeulen is recognized throughout the homeopathic world as an authority on materia medica. His first book, Kindertypes in de Homoeopathie (Child Types in Homoeopathy, published in 1985), was based on his clinical experience. In 1992 he wrote Synoptic Materia Medica I, as a quick and compact reference. This was followed in 1994 by Concordant Materia Medica, and an enlarged 2nd Edition in 1997. Synoptic Materia Medica II focused on small remedies. Prisma Materia Medica (2002) uses data from non-homoeopathic sources as reference material and an additional source of new symptoms. His most recent books are Kingdom Monera and Viruses (2005), Kingdom Fungi (2007), and Kingdom Plants, which has taken him and his wife and co-author Dr. Linda Johnston 5 years of work and is in its final stages. It discusses over 2000 plant remedies and 149 families, and includes family themes drawn from provings and clinical cases, but also from taxonomy, phytochemistry, historical sources, and folklore. 

Klaus von Ammon, MD, KIKOM was educated in Hamburg, Marburg/Lahn, and at the Technical University in Munich, where he was graduated in neurosurgery in 1988. From 1989 up to 1996 he was Senior Fellow at the University Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland, in oncology and pituitary surgery. His homeopathic training started in 1997 at the University of Zurich (SVHA/ZAKH, Dres. Hée, Righetti et al.), and was completed in Lucerne (sahp, Dres. Frei, Minder et al.), and with Heudens, Herscu, and Sehgals. Since 2000, he is in private practice, and since 2001 as part-time research fellow at the Institute of Complementary Medicine KIKOM, University of Bern.

Susan Armstrong MA VetMB VetMFHom CertIAVH MRCVS RSHom is a 1984 graduate of Cambridge University School of Veterinary Medicine, England. In 1996, she became a Veterinary Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in England, after training with the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital and the Homeopathic Professionals Teaching Group (HPTG), Oxford. In 2007 she became a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths which has now extended her practice to humans. Since 2002, she has been a tutor for the HPTG and is now a partner. In 2003 Sue was President and founding member of the British Holistic Veterinary Medicine Association and in 2008 she became President of the British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons. Christina Chambreau, DVM, is an internationally known homeopathic veterinarian, lecturer and author of the Healthy Animal’s Journal. Graduating from the University of Georgia Veterinary College in 1980, she has used homeopathy in her practice since 1983. A founder of the Academy Of Veterinary Homeopathy, Dr. Chambreau was on the faculty of the National Center for Homeopathy Summer School for 10 years and now teaches at the Veterinary Technician Program at Essex Community College, and offers classes in Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Homeopathy for Animals nationwide. Peter Gregory qualified at Bristol in 1972 and has been using homeopathy since 1984. He qualified as a Veterinary Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 1991 and was awarded Veterinary Fellowship in 2004. Now managing partner of the Homeopathic Professionals Teaching Group, he has been responsible for developing the HPTG International courses in Australia, Ireland, South Africa and Latvia. He is national representative and a certified tutor for the International Association for Veterinary Homeopathy, and an ex-President of the British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons. Peter is co-author of ‘Textbook of Veterinary Homeopathy’ and has contributed to several other publications, including chapters in ‘Principles and Practice of Homeopathy’ by David Owen, ‘Homeopathic Practice’ by Steven Kayne. He lives in Dorset with his partner Jane Keogh and 2 Jack Russell Terriers.

Dr. Pitcairn graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 1965. Entering private practice in Southern California, he worked with small animals, farm livestock and zoo animals. In 1967, he accepted a position at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington, as Assistant Professor. He later entered graduate school with a major in microbiology and immunology and a minor in biochemistry, completing this work in 1972 with a PhD degree. Following this, Dr. Pitcairn worked as a faculty member at WSU, then re-entered private practice at a variety of clinics in Oregon and California, including several years at the Monterey County SPCA. In 1982, along with his wife Susan, he published the first edition of Dr. Pitcairn's Complete Guide To Natural Health For Dogs and Cats, The book is now in its third edition and has sold over 400,000 copies. In 1985, he moved to Eugene, Oregon to establish a practice devoted solely to use of homeopathy and nutritional therapy. Following several years of teaching workshops in homeopathy, Dr. Pitcairn established the Professional Course in Veterinary Homeopathy in 1992. By 2008, 14 classes were trained in homeopathic practice, comprising a total of over 470 veterinarians. In 1995, Dr. Pitcairn co-founded the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy, the first professional organization of practicing veterinary homeopaths in the United States. Dr. Pitcairn is currently developing a veterinary repertory and consulting with homeopathic veterinarians and continues to be active in teaching and writing in the area of homeopathic medicine and healing of disease.
